Finally free of Brussels

Was a bit of a struggle getting out of Brussels. Firstly they were digging up the roads everywhere then I hit some kind of   multi-cultural street festival in Molenbeek. The roads were closed and mobbed with people and stalls. Interesting, but it was difficult getting through it.  Once clear of the city the cycling was easy, nearly all on dedicated cycle paths beside the roads. Not much stood out scenery wise - just flat and green.  Good to be on the road though and the further I go from Brussels the more rural it is getting.
